Our organization strives for a goal of “zero fatalities” and is dedicated to continuous improvement in reducing the incidence of accidents.
Health
- Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Standard ISO 45001:2018.
- Development of individual job profiles.
- Creating job descriptions.
- Assessing harmful workplace factors (chemical, physical, etc.) and striving for continuous improvement.
- Monitoring the results of industrial hygiene evaluations to maintain employee health.
- Providing control measures to reduce the incidence of occupational illnesses and poisoning.
- Preparing and distributing health-related materials and guidelines in the form of posters, brochures, etc., to inform and raise employee awareness regarding health issues.
- Continuous inspection and oversight of the health status of projects, workshops, offices, restaurants, kitchens, and warehouses.
- Collaborating and cooperating with provincial and local health centers on various health-related matters.
- Sending food samples to accredited laboratories for analysis.
- Conducting training sessions related to health and safety topics.
- Designing sanitary disposal plans for human waste in projects.
- Monitoring and measuring the sanitary factors of the potable water used in projects.
- Performing pest control and baiting operations in sites/camps to combat insects and vermin.
Safety
Identifying, eliminating, or reducing risks, as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) in our industry is one of the most important duties and responsibilities of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. In this regard, the following actions are undertaken:
- Preparation and regular updating of the annual Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan for projects.
- Conducting routine and random safety inspections of projects, workshops, and facilities based on updated standard checklists to identify hazards and implement preventive measures to enhance the quality of safety indicators, optimize and create favorable working conditions, increase productivity, boost production levels, prevent potential accidents, reduce costs, and achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitoring the execution of lifting operations.
- Ensuring safety oversight during operations.
- Responding to incidents on-site and preparing reports to record and implement preventive actions.
- Developing an emergency response plan.
- Planning for technical inspections (pressure testing, thickness measurements, etc.) and obtaining valid certifications from third parties.
- Conducting risk assessment and management to identify hazards, eliminate, mitigate, and control them.
We are using safety control systems such as:
- Work permits (including hot and cold work, work at heights, entry into tanks and confined spaces, lifting, radioactive work, gas testing, etc.).
- "Unsafe Acts and Conditions Observation" cards to encourage employee participation in HSE matters.
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Hazard identification techniques such as JHA, FTA, HAZOP, and others.
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for assessing safety during operations and ancillary services.
- Disseminating HSE warning information through the preparation and installation of posters, safety signs, and warning leaflets.
Environment
The company is committed to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure that environmental aspects and their impacts are considered in our operations and services. The objectives addressed during projects and ancillary services include:
- Identification of all environmental aspects and impacts related to the project and the continuous reduction of environmental effects.
- Decreasing the discharge of pollutants and waste into the environment and striving for their ongoing reduction.
- Communicating environmental messages and information to contractors and clients.
- Providing educational programs for employees to enhance their understanding of the company’s environmental programs to ensure their active participation in implementing these initiatives.
- Informing safety officers, managers, supervisors, and employees about applicable environmental protection requirements and holding them accountable for compliance.
- Establishing and implementing the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
- Conducting periodic and random environmental inspections of projects and preparing reports.
- Organizing training courses to enhance employees' environmental knowledge and culture.
- Contributing articles and publications in reputable domestic journals and magazines.
- Participating in environmental conferences and seminars.
- Developing a comprehensive waste management guide.
- Collaborating on the feasibility studies for relocating company workshops and operational facilities outside the city.
- Assisting in projects aimed at the collection and treatment of wastewater from operational workshops.
- Preparing posters, brochures, and pamphlets on environmental topics.
