Main & Auxiliary Cooling System Project for Neka Power Plant

The Shahid Salimi Neka Power Plant is one of the most important national assets and one of the largest power plants in the country. This power plant consists of two independent sections, a steam section, and a combined cycle section.

The nominal capacity of this power plant is 2214 MW, consisting of four steam units, each with a nominal capacity of 440 MW, a combined cycle block consisting of two gas units, each with a nominal capacity of 137.6 MW, a steam unit with a nominal capacity of 160 MW, and also two expansion turbine units, each with a nominal capacity of 9.4 MW.

In 2006, Hirbodan Company was awarded to engineering, procurement & construction of the Main and Auxiliary Cooling System for the 160MW steam unit of the Neka Power Plant.
